Squeaky strengthens senior team to boost Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) product proposition

Squeaky, the leading marketplace for clean energy, has strengthened its senior team with a new appointment. Pete Stapleton has joined Squeaky as operations director.

With over a decade of experience, Pete is a well-respected figure in the energy industry, having worked at British Gas, First Utility and Extra Energy. Pete has a track record of successfully developing energy management products most recently at ENSEK, a company providing on-demand software for energy suppliers, where he headed up product development and new markets.

At Squeaky Pete will be responsible for launching a new virtual supply product leveraging Squeaky’s in house electricity supply platform EOS. The EOS platform provides customers with state-of-the-art technology, sophisticated data management and reporting leading to significant operational efficiencies.

Pete joins Squeaky's senior team at a time of ambitious growth, as the firm expands into new geographies and launches innovative products to help generators, corporates and utilities manage the challenges of volatile wholesale markets and the race to net zero.

Pete Stapleton, operations director at Squeaky, said: “I am delighted to be joining Squeaky and working with Chris and the rest of the team at such at exciting time. I am looking forward to helping shape a new and exciting product offering, one we are confident will benefit not only our own corporate customers, but revolutionise the energy sector in the UK and globally.”

Commenting on the appointment, Chris Bowden, MD at Squeaky, said: “We are excited to have Pete join our Squeaky team. Pete brings deep energy sector knowledge and great expertise in product and clean tech. Pete will be instrumental in the development of our EOS Technology systems and getting our platform side of the business to a position where we can go to market with a world class product.”
